Ubud coworking doesn’t have to mean flashy offices or formal coworking hubs, instead, it’s all about cafés with good vibes, great coffee, and even better views. If you’re a digital nomad looking for spots to fuel your productivity and your matcha addiction, Ubud is full of charming places where you can settle in with your laptop and get to work.
I found so many other blogs talked about Ubud coworking spots out of the main centre, so I was on a mission whilst I was here to find the best spots within this vibrant hub that you can pack up your laptop and walk to.
With its relaxed pace, creative energy, and stunning natural surroundings, Ubud has become a favourite base for remote workers from all over the world. Whether you’re here for a few days or settling in long term, you’ll find plenty of laptop-friendly spots where the WiFi is reliable and the service is excellent.
In this guide, I’ve rounded up my favourite cafés and coworking-friendly spots in Ubud centre that are perfect for getting things done, without sacrificing vibes. Whether you’re catching up on emails, editing, planning your next adventure, or just looking for a cool place to sit and sip, these places will make work feel a little less like… work.

7 Ubud Coworking Spots with Good Wifi & Even Better Vibes
Mudra
For me, Mudra has to win overall for the best vibes, great wifi, unreal drinks, tasty food and overall acceptance of Ubud’s digital nomads.
I visited here multiple times whilst I was in Ubud to write blog posts, and I often sat for 4-6 hours to complete a post, ordering drinks and food as the day went by, but I never once felt as though I needed to leave.
In Mudra, they are very open to table sharing, so quite often I was sitting on larger tables with other guests. Because of this, if your work requires a lot of focus, Mudra may not be the best place to go as it’s a very upbeat, vibrant and bustling cafe.
There is always plenty going on, from handpan lessons and performances to ecstatic dance afterparties and open mic nights. This is what I found so magical about it, it was the perfect spot to base myself for the day, get some work done, enjoy the vibes and have some great post work chats, it is full of likeminded nomads so if you’re looking to build a little community in Ubud, Mudra is the place to find them.

Chandra Cafe
Connected to Radiantly Alive Yoga Studio, Chandra Cafe is the perfect chilled spot to get your head down in a more relaxed and quiet atmosphere.
Although much more relaxed than Mudra, Chandra still has a wonderful vibe. There is soft background music playing and a good selection of seating from tables with plugs to sofas to snuggle down on, its open front allows for so much natural sunlight to stream in giving it a bright and airy feel.
Offering a wide variety of drinks, food and a wide variety of yummy vegan desserts, it is super easy to spend most of the day here, eating and drinking your way through the menu whilst you work.

Tucky
A great spot for coffee and breakfast, then to base yourself for a few hours to work, Tucky is not the biggest cafe in Ubud, therefore, if it’s busy, it is probably not the best to stay for too long to allow for other guests to have a table.
However, when I visited, there were only 2 other people in there, and I was able to stay for a few hours to get some writing done as it never got too busy.
Unlike Mudra and Chandra, Tucky is inside, therefore air conditioned, which is just pure heaven!
I find that working in air conditioning when it’s super hot and humid helps my productivity so much that if you have some work you need that little bit of extra focus for, this is a nice chilled spot to base yourself, just head there around mid-morning to avoid the rush

Moon by Sun
My favourite spot for breakfast is another wonderfully chilled space to then stick around for a few hours after to get some work done.
Moon by Sun is the western sister restaurant to Sun Sun Warung, which also happens to be one of my favourite dinner spots in Ubud, you cannot go wrong in this space for all your daily meals!
With plenty of seating around the restaurant, you have the choice of comfy sofas with well-placed tables, or my personal favourite is the row of single seats overlooking the street, the perfect spot to work and people watch when you need to readjust your eyes.
A few others were working whilst I was here, but with their evening events such as taco and tequila nights, and beer and burger night, I would recommend heading here around midday to ensure you can get work done in peace and not take up a table for too long if it is busy.

Sayuri Healing Foods
One of the many plant-based spots in Ubud, Sayuri Healing Foods is not only a popular Ubud coworking desination it also offers a wide variety of workshops, cooking classes and teacher trainings.
This bustling but chilled-out cafe has the best of both worlds. There are plenty of spots inside amongst the madness of the cafe, with many tables packed into this little space, and options to sit on a bench along the side wall or cross-legged on a platform at the back, inside is full of energy and has lots going on from people on calls, groups eating or people coming and going for classes.
Outside is much calmer, out in the elements in a small courtyard between the cafe and workshop space, you can enjoy the peace and quiet Sayuri and have some time undisturbed to get your head down and concentrate for much longer.
With an extensive menu and large plant-based dessert selection, Sayuri is the perfect place for an afternoon drink and a little sweet treat.

Eightea Bali
This is a great spot if you want to get some work done whilst immersed in nature, but it isn’t as easy to get to as the rest of these Ubud coworking spots, nestled amongst the rice paddies, pack your backpack and off you go on a little adventure to reach this tranquil spot for a few hours of work.
Located on the Sweet Orange Trail just outside of Ubud, look out for the sign below off the main road Jl. Raya Ubud, which heads towards the trail Eightea is located on.
I didn’t personally work from here, this was my morning strawberry matcha spot to read my book or journal, but I know they encourage visitors to come and cowork here if they are happy to make the walk there.
Well worth the journey once you’re here, make sure to hang around for a few hours, soaking in the peace and quiet of this wonderful spot outside the chaos of Ubud.

Zest
One of the most popular plant-based spots in Ubud, Zest has a large variety of seating and, similar to Mudra, encourages table sharing and good vibes.
What if restaurants are no longer just places to soothe your appetite? Boardrooms of future CEO’s, meeting hubs for those destined to mingle and a familiar living space for Nomads without a place to call home. We hope Zest is a place where you feel safe to belong.
Whilst I didn’t work there personally, I only visited for food, with the above as one of their main ethos from their website, I think it’s safe to say nomads are welcome at this Ubud coworking spot.
Located high up above Ubud, nestle in and get stuck into your work whilst overlooking the town and lush greenery. Make sure to work your way through their yummy plant-based menu, and if you feel like joining in on an event, they have a wide variety of things going on from Kirtans to full moon ceremonies.
Where to Stay in Ubud
Hostels — an amazing hostel to visit whilst you are in Ubud is Arya Wellness Retreat, sorry guys, but this is a female-only space and is truly magical. Located just a short walk from the monkey forest and directly off the bustling streets of Ubud, this sanctuary is an oasis of calm amongst it all. With 4-bed shared dorms or private rooms available, there is something to suit everyone. The price is slightly higher than most hostels, but it includes breakfast, yoga and meditation classes, daily workshops and activities such as cacao ceremonies, movie nights and sound healing, and free daily massages, manicures and pedicures! It really doesn’t get much better than Arya, so make sure to visit during your time in Ubud to make some lifelong girlfriends and take a break from the usual hostel madness.
Hotels — located on the western side of Ubud town is Bali Ubud Harmony, this cute, locally run hotel offers plenty of different rooms, which all boast incredible sunrise views over a lush green canyon. Here you can find fully equipped double or queen rooms, with toiletries, shared kitchen facilities, air conditioning and laundry services. Bali Ubud Harmony has a rooftop pool, which is perfect to spend a chilled day relaxing by, and there is a menu of freshly prepared food to pick from if you don’t wish to venture out into the town itself.
Best Time to Visit Ubud
With the island being hot all year, Bali is really a year-round destination but it heavily depends on what you are planning to do once you’re here to determine the best time to visit for you.
There are two main seasons here, rainy or dry!
The dry season runs from April to October. This is the island’s peak season, where you will find more tourists and the prices can be a lot higher. To avoid the height of the peak season, travel outside of April to August.
The rainy season in Bali is November to March, whilst the temperatures are still warm, it will usually rain for 1 out of 2 days. Visiting in the rainy season may mean activities such as diving or snorkelling may be off the cards however, activities like yoga, waterfall hopping, and temples are still accessible.
